Hoe Kermu en Dorina Hun Leven en Boerderij Terugkregen

Kermu and Dorina, dedicated coffee farmers and parents to seven children, once endured immense difficulties. They grappled with the constant worry of paying school fees for their large family, often lacked sufficient food, lived in an inadequate house, and tragically, lost control of their coffee farm to a money lender after defaulting on a loan. Their daily lives were a struggle against overwhelming odds.

However, with the timely intervention and support of the project, Kermu and Dorina's lives have undergone a remarkable transformation. Their financial stability has improved significantly; they are now able to consistently save UGX30,000 per week. This newfound security means they can comfortably pay school fees and purchase essential scholastic materials for all their children, ensuring their education is no longer jeopardized. Beyond finances, their family now enjoys regular, balanced dietary meals, a stark contrast to their previous struggles with food insecurity. They have also proudly constructed a permanent house, providing a safe and stable home for their family. Crucially, they were able to redeem their cherished coffee farm by paying off the UGX500,000 loan to the lender, regaining control of their livelihood.

Looking ahead, Kermu and Dorina are focused on building an even more secure future. Their immediate plans include completing the construction of their permanent house. Furthermore, they are committed to accumulating substantial savings, which will serve as a vital foundation to ensure the continued well-being and bright future of all their children.
